We’ve learned a lot being open for forty years. Perhaps the most important lesson is that the people make the difference. So we do what we can to take care of each other and know that when we come together, good things tend to happen.

Together, we’ve got surfers, biologists, ceramicists, experimental artists of all kinds, a polyglot or two, backyard composters, one serious pickleballer, a few practicing chefs, and a number of parents.

We’re big believers that any outlet benefits us as individuals and raises the level of our work as a group.

Our studio isn’t a building—it’s us. Wherever we are, that’s where we’re working from. Whether we’re in a shared space or across the globe, we come together even if we’re apart.

Our time here is limited, so we give our people the means and flexibility to work in the ways that fit their lives. The work can be demanding, that doesn’t mean the workplace culture needs to be.

No matter what we’re building toward, we’ve found that when we enjoy the people and enjoy the process, we all do well together.
