Ryan McGinley
Many have probably heard his name before, but I just wanted to give him a proper shout-out. Young and prolific photographer, Ryan McGinley captures images that explore the collision of innocence and thrill. His work is widely published and appears in galleries throughout the world. His latest project, a short film entitled Entrance Romance, features model Carolyn Murphy in a series of provocative scenes.

Sacks Spiral
Did you know that when you place integers on a regular spiral, the primes line up in slightly scrambled but still discernable curved bands? The resulting Sacks spiral produces a remarkably organized distribution of prime and composite numbers.

A whole lotta tape
'Tape Installation' by the Croatian design collective 'for use/numen' is made of tendons of transparent multi-layered adhesive tape stretched between the columns of an ex-stock exchange building. The continuous wrapping of tendons results in a complex, amorphous webbed environment reminiscent of growing organic forms. Has 3M seen this yet?

Amazing illustration work by J.J. Cromer. Cromer began a career as a reference librarian and settled in southwest Virginia. Gradually, evening drawing sessions evolved from pastime to preoccupation, and in 1999, he began showing his work at local galleries.
