Snowboard on the Street
Freeboard makes a hybrid skateboard that rides like a snowboard. Never mind lift tickets and snow anymore. Any paved hill is now at your disposal. Watch the videos. Looks like a blast.

The Late Show Gardens
“GrowMelt”, pictured above is one of 18 temporary gardens installed for a three day show at Sonoma’s CornerStone Gardens. The entire show is focused on addressing the issues of climate change, drought, sustainable practices and renewable resources. GrowMelt has a twenty foot long ice wall that will slowly fill the cactus pool over the next few days. GrowMelt was designed by Sarah Kuehl, Liz Einwiller and Adam Greenspan of PWP Landscape Architecture.

Edward Sharp & The Magnetic Zeros
Great video for Edward Sharp & The Magnetic Zeros. It's the first of 12 parts of a feature-length movie musical. Has a great Spaghetti Western meets Jesus Christ Superstar vibe.

Lookin' Good
If you were in school during a certain era you might remember the special laser option background offered during class picture time. This website is a great summary of that special space in time. And no, that is not my image above.

Partners & Spade
I went and saw Andy Spade, from Kate and Jack Spade fame, speak last Monday at a local AIGA event hosted by Adobe. He told his life story in a very humble and honest manner. The account of the birth of Kate Spade as a company was very inspiring. Kate and Andy have since sold their company and Andy has started a new venture called Partners & Spade. P&S is a small NYC store front gallery/shop, while Andy and team run a creative office in the back. I found a nice summation of the store on The Scout.

Some Interesting Apple Tablet Concepts
An assortment of some pretty cool Apple Tablet ideas from different sources. The "Laptop or Canvas" execution is the best in my eyes. But I also like the detachable keyboard idea as well.
